The Bada powered Samsung Wave S8530 IIhas been finally announced. There is no definite date for its launch in the market. But we know that it will only be a bit different from its predecessor the original Samsung Wave 8500. Whilst the original had a 3.3 inch Super AMOLED screen this new device will have a bigger 3.7 inch 480 x 800 pixel capacitive touch screen with the Super Clear LCD technology which makes the screen scratch resistant. Samsung say that this new technology improves brightness and color and makes the display thinner. They say that the Super Clear LCD is layered onto the main display screen with no air between them thus making the display crisper. But there has been rumor mongering that Samsung is only replacing the touch screen technology to lessen the load on the Super AMOLED display factories.
The Wave S5830 II comes with an ARM Cortex A8 1 GHz CPU and has 1.5 GB internal storage which is expandable via a 32 GB micro SD memory card. The mobile phone comes with Nuanceās new T-9 trace text input system.
