Dell launches Streak Tablet in UK

On May 25, Dell finally launched the long-awaited new gadget, Streak, the 5 inch Android tablet in UK. Sometimes also known as Mini 5, the gadget will be available recently through 02 and Carphone Warehouse to activate its 3G connection. The part of it, its android device, will firstly be shipped to UK as a carrier-backed. Dell UK will then deliver it that same month. Dell US has now been starting the countdown to get the device at the end of this summer.

It is planned that all countries all around the world will get the same design. The specifications are as such:
- 1GHz Quallcomm Snapdragon processor
- A Multi-touch
- 800×480 display ( large enough for full-appearance of many sites)
- Google’s mobile operating system (fits larger screen size)
- Voice Commands
- Google Maps Navigation
- 2GB built-in storage + a Micro SD HC slot (up to 32 GB)
- 5 Megapixels rear camera (with dual LED camera)
- Front 0.3 Megapixels camera for live chatting or streaming.
- GPS, WIFI, 3G available.
- Jack headset 3.5 mm

Dell’s planning to use this Streak launching as its entry gate to the tablet space competing against both iPad and iPod touch. Looking-Glass, a 7-inch tablet, is to be launched this fall, while the 10-inch one early next year.

Google to Introduce The Extent of Reshare and Mobile version

Google has just announced its support for Buzz mobile that works with BlackBery, android pra-2.0, Nokia S60, Windows Mobile, and palm. Before the supports for that operating system, Google Buzz has also supported for iPhone and Android 2.0. If you use BlackBerry, you will see the Buzz info around your location, but it will work if you arrange the browser location setup.

What about the Reshare feature? Google Buzz will also work on desktop version. But, this feature is still under progress. Google is still testing the feature. However, for your information, this function is similar with the re-tweet feature on Twitter. Well, are you a Twitter user? Thus, it’s not obligatory for me to explain a lot more about the feature.

Furthermore, this Reshare will also allow you to add new comments. However, you could not erase the first original copy you’ve made. Well, I’ve told you that the feature is still being processed, so Google will only choose some users to test the feature. Why? It all functions to avoid the application of privacy policy. Google will also wait for the users’ first comments and prevent the negative reaction from all Buzz users in the future.
